Danyale Patterson

Evangelist | Educator | Keynote Speaker

A native of the inner city of St. Louis, MO, Danyale has seen how poverty, drug abuse, and disillusionment can deteriorate families, schools, and communities. However, as a young child it was evident that she was destined to rise above the despair and live with a divine purpose. Aiming for excellence, Danyale finished high school at Cardinal Ritter College Preparatory High School with honors, and then completed college at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Danyale’s commitment to helping others is evident through her lifestyle of service. She has spent over twenty years reaching out to the poor, abused, and hurting through volunteering in nursing homes, shelters, hospitals, and AmeriCorps, as well as mentoring youth and young adults.

In addition, Danyale has assisted in community events through charitable work for non-profit organizations and through her service as a Ministry Leader in local churches. Other ministerial responsibilities have included Christian discipleship, intercessory prayer, outreach, evangelism, children & youth leadership programs, and radio media ministry.

Her professional career has been filled with vast experiences in training children, parents, and teachers throughout the metropolitan area. With a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, she taught in St. Louis, MO and Nashville, TN public schools. She also worked as a certified Parent Educator with Parents as Teachers and as a Prevention Specialist with the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (NCADA).

Danyale has had the pleasure of serving diverse groups with varying ages, ethnic groups, and social economic backgrounds. Her spheres of influence have given her the opportunity to equip hundreds of people with practical tools for success in the family, school, community, church, and workplace.

Of all the roles she plays, her greatest joy is being a wife to Brandon Patterson for 16 years, and a proud parent of their daughter, Kalia Patterson. Together, they founded Enlighten Ministries and it’s outreach program, Acts of Kindness. The Pattersons have recently relocated to Florida, and as Danyale settles in, her passion continues to be honoring God in every aspect of life while empowering others through education and inspiration.
